Raikou Guarantee & Warranty

Every Raikou piece is handmade in Japan by working artisans, and we stand behind that work.

Craftsmanship Guarantee

If a defect in materials or workmanship appears within 1 year of delivery, we will repair or replace the item, or refund it if neither is practical. This covers failures of the craft itself: joinery, lacquer, blade mounting, handle wrapping.

What Isn't Covered

Normal wear, damage from misuse or accidents, and deterioration from improper care (for example, a wooden board left soaking, or a blade stored wet). Natural variation in wood grain and lacquer is the nature of handmade work, not a defect.

Damaged on Arrival

If your item arrives damaged, email info@raikou.store within 7 days of delivery with photos. We will replace or refund it, and return shipping is on us. Full details: Refund Policy.

Katanas and Blades

Every sword order is personally confirmed with you before it ships. Each authentic blade is one of a kind; if yours arrives with any issue, we resolve it directly with you, including coordinating repair by the original workshop where possible.

How to Make a Claim

Email info@raikou.store with your order number and photos. We respond within 2 business days.

This guarantee is in addition to your statutory rights.
